The implementation of various scholarship programs under the Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) and the adoption of new policies aimed at strengthening the country’s education system were highlighted during a regional event held at the Widus Hotel, Clark, Pampanga, last February 24.
The activity, initiated by DOST Central Luzon, gathered scholarship coordinators and education stakeholders across the region to discuss updates and ensure the proper implementation of DOST-SEI programs. The event served as a platform to align institutions with the latest guidelines and policy developments designed to enhance the delivery of scholarship services.
Among the attendees was Mark Ian Maguddayao, Scholarship Affairs Coordinator of Pampanga State University, who joined fellow coordinators in reviewing procedures and addressing concerns related to scholarship administration.
Officials emphasized that the continuous adoption of improved policies is essential in maintaining the integrity, efficiency, and responsiveness of the DOST-SEI scholarship programs. The updates aim to streamline processes, provide clearer guidelines to scholars and partner institutions, and ultimately contribute to the overall advancement of the Philippine education system.
The gathering underscored DOST-SEI’s commitment to ensuring that scholarship programs remain accessible, well-managed, and aligned with national development goals.
