Scholarship Affairs Unit Records 4,381 TES Applications for AY 2026-2027

The Scholarship Affairs Unit completed the uploading of 4,381 Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) applications to the HEI Portal on July 30, 2026, for the 2026-2027 application period. The uploaded applications include both online (e-application) and walk-in submissions received by the unit.

Compared to 1,878 uploaded applications in 2025, this year's total increased by 133.28 percent, showing a higher number of students who applied for the TES program.

Based on the final data, Candaba recorded the highest increase in applicants, followed by Lubao, Apalit, and Bacolor. Mexico and Sto. Tomas also posted higher numbers, while Porac remained nearly the same. San Fernando recorded 147 applicants after having no uploaded applications in 2025.

The increase in TES applications shows the growing number of students seeking financial assistance and the continued efforts of the Scholarship Affairs Unit to process and upload all applications to the HEI Portal within the required timeline.
